A personal access token (PAT) is your key to call Gfacility APIs from external scripts, reporting tools or custom integrations. The token inherits the rights of the account that generates it — only what you can see in the UI can be retrieved through the API.
When to use a PAT?
Power BI / reporting
Pull the Data API and refresh automatically in Power BI.
Custom integrations
Scripts or services that read or write Gfacility data.
One-off automation
For example, a one-time bulk import via a Postman script.
External dashboards
Surface real-time KPIs in your own dashboard tool.
