With Actionable Messages, users can take actions in Gfacility straight from their Outlook mailbox — approve, reject, change status — without signing in. A notification becomes truly actionable instead of merely informational.
Why enable Actionable Messages?
"Approvals keep piling up"
One click in the email = handled instantly. No more "I'll open Gfacility later".
"Signing in on mobile is a hassle"
Outlook mobile supports Actionable Messages — handle things quickly on the go.
"External parties don't have a login"
Works without a Gfacility account for specific flows.
"Mail flow stays the source"
No separate tool — fits into existing Outlook flows and filters.
Enable in Office 365
Actionable Messages must be enabled once by an Office 365 administrator via PowerShell using the Set-OrganizationConfig cmdlet. Follow the official Microsoft instructions — they include the exact command syntax and admin-consent requirements.
