About this cookie policy

This page explains what cookies and similar technologies Gfacility uses on gfacility.com, why we use them, and how you can manage your preferences.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. Cookies let the site remember your choices (e.g. language) and help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Some cookies are set by us (first-party), some by trusted partners (third-party).

The categories we use

Strictly necessary (always on)

These cookies are required for the site to function and cannot be switched off. They store your cookie consent choice, your language preference, and basic session and security state. They never collect analytics or marketing data.

  • gf_cookie_consent_v1 — your choice from the cookie banner (1 year, first-party)
  • gf_locale — preferred website language (1 year, first-party)
  • Session & security tokens — short-lived, first-party

Analytics (consent-based)

If you accept analytics cookies we use Google Analytics 4 to measure how the site is used in aggregate — pages visited, traffic sources, broad device type — so we can improve content and performance. We also use Microsoft Clarity for anonymised heatmaps and session replays; form fields are masked so typed input is never visible in replays. IP addresses are anonymised and we do not use analytics data for advertising. You can opt out at any time from the cookie banner or your browser settings.

  • _ga, _ga_<ID> — Google Analytics 4 visitor and session identifiers (up to 13 months, third-party)
  • _clck, _clsk — Microsoft Clarity visitor and session identifiers for heatmaps and replays (up to 1 year, third-party)

Lead capture & marketing (consent-based)

If you accept marketing cookies we use Teamleader (our CRM, for lead capture and attributing form submissions to their original marketing source) and Mailchimp (for newsletter signups and email-campaign tracking). These cookies help us recognise returning visitors, measure which content generates interest in our product, and deliver and report on our newsletter. You can opt out at any time from the cookie banner.

  • Teamleader cookies — visitor and form-submission identification, marketing-source attribution (up to 13 months, third-party)
  • Mailchimp cookies — set when you submit a newsletter signup form or click a link in our email, for delivery and click-tracking (varies, third-party)
  • Calendly cookies — set only when you click Schedule a call on the contact page to open the booking widget, for scheduling and rescheduling meetings (varies, third-party, click-only)

Managing your preferences

You can review or change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the Cookies link in the footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser settings. Refusing analytics or marketing cookies has no impact on your ability to access or use the site.

Third parties

Third-party cookies are governed by the privacy policies of the parties that set them:

Updates

We update this policy when we add, remove or change a cookie category. Material changes will be communicated through the cookie banner. The current version is published at gfacility.com/cookies/.
