Admins upload a floor map per floor, draw room zones and drop desks, assets and points of interest on top. Each object links to its existing record in Gfacility, so the visual layer reuses the data you already maintain.

  • Live status per room and desk: green for free, red for occupied
  • Hover or click for capacity, layout, equipment and the next booking
  • Zoom, pan and full-screen editing on any floor

Book straight from the map

A floor map view sits next to the list and grid in the booking form. Click a green tile to book, see why a red one is busy, and let the form fill itself in. Filters for capacity, floor, room type and equipment apply to both views.

Desk booking, built in

An individual desk becomes a first-class bookable object next to rooms. Each desk carries a type (fixed, flex or focus), capacity, equipment and a zone, so people reserve the right spot for a full day or part of a day.

Neighbourhoods and team zones

Fixed desks belong to a person, flex desks stay open for daily booking and focus spots are grabbed ad hoc. Group desks into neighbourhoods so teams sit together and you see how space is really used.

Is floor maps and desk booking included?

It is included free of charge for existing Gfacility customers. For new customers it is offered as a separate module. Talk to us and we will switch it on for your environment.

Do we have to recreate our rooms?

No. Rooms link to the room records you already have in Gfacility, so the map reuses your existing data. Desks are created as you lay out the floor, since the concept itself is new.

Can we set different rules per desk or room?

Yes. Desks and rooms follow the same booking rules, restrictions, approval flows and opening hours that apply across Gfacility, so policy stays consistent wherever people book.
